I had paid an advance & did my booking. I had specifically asked if there is convenient parking as we are traveling & have kids so we need hotel parking. The staff gave all promises that we are on the lake side, lake view, etc. No doubt the location is fine but the hotel is accessible by walking a good 100-200 mtrs uphill. And for the parking, the lane is so narrow that we definitely knew our Brezza won't be able to pass through, but the hotel staff kept boosting that my creta I drive through, tempo goes through. But we clearly knew that it is very narrow road that too after a steep upward bent. And the staff was not ready to take any responsibility of anything happened to the car. I didn't bother to go up and park and let my booking advance go waste. As the staff was not ready to accommodate at all. Not worth.

Located right beside bhimtal lake. Rooms are quite clean with ample parking space. Breakfast was decent too. Overall value for money. Staff was prompt too. We opted for lake facing rooms and the view was good too. Can opt for a short stay in Bhimtal

I liked this hotel - Royal Rosette, Bhimtal. Good budget hotel. We stayed in this hotel in Lake view premier Rooms 101 and 102 for a day 28-29 Oct 2023. Location of the hotel was 100 metres up the road which gave a beautiful view of the Bhimtal Lake even from the rooms. Parking was available for free and the hotel staff provided blanket to the driver with subsidised dinner and breakfast. The staff of the hotel - at the reception, in the restaurant and the room service staff - was courteous. Overall the hotel is greatly recommended. Thanks the Hotel Royal Rosette

We planned our Bhimtal trip to relax after our trip to Corbett. We were 3 adults and 1 kid, needed two rooms. Booked based on overall ratings and location having lake views. Narrow steep approach road, though ok for even SUVs and mini-vans. Ample parking space. Hotel was very good. Started with welcome drink at check in. Rooms were spic and span (we got 102 and 104). Free wifi was available. Very nice view (front facing towards the lake). Food was good and tasty, though limited options. Breakfast was free for our plan, and was excellent though limited. Chinese cuisine was average, but Indian and continental were good. Checkout was at 10am (instead of 11am as shown on Agoda.com through which we booked). Staff was great and very helpful. The hotel has an elevator; great for older people. They also arrange for cabs for local sightseeing and airport/ station/ intercity transfers. Only qualm was that, the bathroom did not have a separate/ lowered flooring or glass partition in bathing area, causing the water to every time flow across the bathroom.

We were on a short trip to Nainital and after seeing the reviews on TA we have decided to stay in this hotel but, the experience was completely opposite. Hotel situated on elevated land and the entrance is really very narrow and risky too, there was no driver present to assist which was promised to us while making the booking . We have informed the staff that we would be reaching late night still no driver was available . Rooms are smelling with bathroom smell and we changed twice but, have found similar issue in another room as well . Breakfast was another challenging part , don’t expect cut fruits , South Indian, fresh juice like you have in other hotels. They will only provide 01 or 02 option you as per their choice . Hot water , electricity and room service is another challenge. Limited staff and less available options are present in hotel. Overall, I don’t recommend anyone to stay here .
